technical analysis
Technical analysis examines the past history including price
and volume to forecast future trends in that market. It does
not analyze the financial data of a company, such as cashflow,
dividends, and projection of future dividends. Technical analysis
does not account for the fundamental of a company. It only
concerns about two things:
a) current price
b) the history of price movement
Technical analysis is widely used by both professional and
amateur traders as a means of predicting future market moves.
It's almost becoming a self-fulfilled prophecy. The biggest
advantage of technical analysis happens when combined with
fundamental analysis. The section below will cover the fundamental
of technical analysis in order to understand how the stock
is screened by iTRADESTATION.

Below are the three books that I recommend depending on the

Trading is the best book that I read so far for trading
strategy and basic technical analysis. The book costs about
$30 or less, and it's the best reference/tutition in my opinion
for $30.
